It would be really nice for some midi support for knob banks, etc. Sure it is great that there are all these controls, but sometimes a mouse interface just doesnt cut it. It would be really nice to be able to link the knobs to an actual control panel and be able to control more than just one knob at once as is permitted by the current interface.

I second that! There is another post on this forum about adding compatibility for other controllers, but it's always a problem to do so. Having MIDI compatibility would give access to many different types of controllers and an existing standard.
