I come across this issue quite regularly, and would love this as a feature. Basically, I'd love for the sync feature to work backwards (slower) rather than forwards (faster). Sometimes I sync up 2 tracks and realise the one I'm mixing is double in speed and need it to sync to it's slower (sometimes half) BPM. Of course if I picked this up beforehand it wouldn't be an issue but in a live set it's sometimes easy to miss and I have been caught out with it before.
An example, my first track is playing at 75bpm. I load in the new track at 112bpm, and want to sync it to 75bpm (so the beats match, the song being played much slower isn't an issue), but when I click on the sync button it goes to 150bpm. I need to manually click the BPM near 75bpm, and then press sync and it will sync to 75bpm as I want it.
So an option to sync backwards (to a lower BPM) would be awesome!

Brought this up before too as a formal feature request:

bring the pitch nearer to target bpm then press sync, sync will always travel the shortest distance to exact|double|half

@locodog that's what I do currently, but honestly that is more work and requires being aware, and sometimes may not always be readily possible, especially for very wide range changes in higher BPM ranges, without a few extra steps.
When a DJ normally thinks sync, they normally think BPM match (i.e. making the BPMs equal), hence the request.
