So I make my own beats with Ableton (on my MBP M4) and then just import wavs into VDJ.
I have a Roland TR1000, which I would like to setup to sync to Virtual DJ. Have the TR1000 as master. Any idea how I would go about doing this? I don't have ableton on my PC which I use with VDJ and my DJM-S11

I'd do it as you say in your title - sync the TR to VDJ, not VDJ to the TR.
Send MIDI clock from VDJ to the TR (which has sloppy sync from what I hear).
