The system hangs every time I close out of virtual DJ after having plugged in my rane 72 mixer. If I don't plug it in the program will close just fine, if I do plug it in it works. If I close the program with it still plugged in, virtual DJ disappears but it doesn't actually exit. If I try to open it again it says it's already running. I've tried unplugging the mixer then exiting in which case it just freezes. I have to restart the system, this is really frustrating what can I do?

Is this on Windows 11?
If so, the workaround for the inMusic driver bug finished rolling out today to customers who are up-to-date with updates. If you aren't up to date then you'll get it in the mid-June Windows update.
The workaround was also available since March on the MIDI Discord server for those who wanted it earlier. https://aka.ms/mididiscord
Please note, this only works around the drivers "hang on close" bug. If you were to power down or otherwise disconnect the controller while VDJ has it open, it will still cause a hang that requires a reboot. We haven't been able to work around that yet.
