Are you sure the problem is with the build, rather than Windows MIDI 2.0?

the correct answer (as discussed here: https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/266880/General_Discussion/How_to_revert_back_to_VDJ_2025.html) is just go to https://www.virtualdj.com/download/build.html and choose the oldver you prefere ;)

If the Hercules controller has stopped working, going back to an earlier build will not help. It's better to install b9245 or newer, and disable MIDI 2.0

For a reason. I'm guessing you're just now trying to find an older version that doesn't have the voice drop. Not happening.

my input on this would be that if it worked on a previous version but not on a newer version then you should probably create a custom mapper for it, ive had issues with hercules devices in the past and just mapped them to suit. always worth a look.
