Topic: How to sync devices from remote library
I want to administer a VDJ laptop remotely and basically have it be a read only instance of VDJ. I would like to mirror the library, playlists, and ideally settings from another VDJ "master" machine, so that I can update those items and have it be reflected on the laptop. I do not want the laptop to be able to sync anything back to the master.

I looked at VDJ CloudDrive for this but I don't think it will work since the laptop needs to have a local copy of the media, not stream it from the cloud.

If I mirrored my media folder and the VirtualDJ folder on the laptop, would that work? Any recommendations on how to set this up?

All you probably would need to know on the VirtualDJ level wrt where things are stored and what needs to be copied to replicate you can find out here:

@PhantomDeejay (one of the devs) wrote up a topic for using Dropbox on Windows (If you are on Mac, most of it is applicable, just use the first link to know what path changes to make).
You don't have to use Dropbox, you can use any syncing tool.

Cloud Drive stuff here

Since you are more concerned with the entire setup (settings + music + music metadata), you're probably more interested in the first two links, and in particular the second one.
