Is the skin broke or something to do with VDJ?

This skin is meant to be used on Prime 4 screen.

Do you have/use a Prime 4 ?

Also it needs to have the same name as the "original" screens skin (so, it needs to overwite it). Otherwise the controller itself won't load it.

He's just bought a Prime 4.

@TSI the original skin is called Denon Prime4 Screen.zip

The other skin downloads as Prime 4 Modified Screen.zip

Did you rename the latter skin exactly to Denon Prime4 Screen.zip? Is it in the Skins folder?

Yes, multiple times and every time I get a black screen.

Is this a Mac issue??

Seems there is a bug in the skin xml
Can you try to create a Custom button with
set '@$prime4horwaves' 1
then press it and see if the skin appears on Prime screen ?

Now I gotta figure out how to get the pad names and stuff to show on the skin 🤦🏾‍♂️

Ok so I got the skin to show up, but the waves are nowhere near as smooth as the stock ones.

Phantom, any chance you got a "VECTOR" version I could use with the Prime 4??

If I could get you horizontal timecode layout on the Prime 4 that would be awesome!! Wouldnt need the jogs and the waveforms could half the height and that would make my day ;-p

I don't have the Prime 4, but I can take a look at the skin and see if I can come up with something.
However it will probably take a week or two

Do you mean the waves on screen when the Prime 4 is used standalone, or the waves on the official VDJ skin for the Prime 4?

FYI Atomix staff (djdad I think) said that the refresh rate of the Prime 4 screen is low via USB so can't handle lots of movement.

There’s a huge difference in smoothness when using the standard VDJ skin versus this Modified skin. I’ll make a video.

The waveforms on your skin are just way to big and take up way to much processing power on the unit. The screen shot is from Phantomdjs skin "Vector" and thats the layout Id love to have.
