With the last two controllers I’ve had (Numark mixtrack 2 & mixtrack platinum), the right fader is considerably louder than the left when the cross fader is dead centre. I understand that the software gain automatically sets each track to 0db, and if you adjust it VDJ remembers it for the next time you select the track.
I’d say my right deck is easily 15-20% louder so my fader is constantly set lower and I dare not adjust it.
I only use the cross fader anyway to mix my style of music but I’m wondering if it’s a hardware problem which is fundamental to Numark. My friend had the Numark Mixtrack 3 and had exactly the same problem.
Thoughts?
