I am not receiving any sound out of my headphones from my controller. What should be my settings I have the pro version, connecting to a Hercules 500.

Your settings should be the default ones when you plug in the controller (assuming it's a supported unit). Just confirm that you want use it (click the button). If you miss that, there should also be a big button in the audio config screen, showing your hardware. Click that.
All the hardware manuals for supported controllers are available here, and they all show the correct audio config, so if you somehow miss the popup when plugging the controller in, and the big button in the audio config, the third option is to follow the setup guide.
