I would like to be able to place an multiline message on the video screen.
the set_var_dialog '$testtxt' 'Custom text' gives me the opportunity to set the text but does not seem to accept cr/lf.
Anyone who knows a work around.
I can not use the text video FX as the text window is displayed next to the video master window.

Have you tried using \n in the text ?
Also on the skin element you're using make sure to set multiline option to yes

I set the skin script in exactly the same way as you suggested and I do get multiple lines. The breaks just are not where I want them to be.
\n nor \r will do the trick, good suggestion nevertheless.
