Topic: Analog Licence Needed

I plugged a microphone into the mic socket of my computer to go with my webcam as the audio through the camera is no good I then went into audio settings it said that I needed a analog licence the video from the camera works well and WHY a licence is needed just for a microphone.

Analog license, usually means you have set up independent deck outputs (Aka, for analogue external mixer, and hence pro dj gear, license required).
Maybe you just set up wrong audio settings?

If you are not using any external DJ mixer or gear (that will require a license), your sound setup should Master output (+ possibly headphones)

For connecting microphone, simply add input mic.

Typically having Deck 1 and Deck 2 as independent output of the sound card, will ask for a license.
