Yes you can, if you like to manipulate the beatgrid if it´s neccesary.
Virtualdj is a very powerful program and it is sometimes not that easy or quick to learn to do that kind of advanced things.

You can't correct the BPM (have it be one tempo) in VDJ but you can assign beat grid anchors manually to every place it changes. If you do this to both tracks (assuming they both vary in tempo) then using VDJ's beatlock should keep them together.
You may find it tedious putting anchors on every tempo fluctuation though. I really think this needs to be automated. Ableton Live has been able to do this for many years.
