Would you be willing to expand it with a optional band splitting feature?
Lemme try to explain: if you have a knot to set split frequency (high/low band pass filter), and a toggle button that state "high" and "low" (and "off), then split by that frequency into two audio paths, apply cut only to one, then mix them back to output. This way you can apply cut to say "vocal-ish/instruments" range and leave the bass and drums, or vice verse.
