I'm quite technically minded - I've built my laptop to a very high spec - so it shouldn't be part of the issue.
- Intel Core i7-2760QM
- 16GB DDR3 RAM
- 128GB Crucial M550 SSD
- Windows 10
I use Virtual DJ 7
I use a Yamaha DSP-A592 Amplifier
2 Tannoy Mercury M3 Floorstanders
2 Pioneer S-Z72 Speakers
I've got the Numark Mixtrack Pro.
Sometimes, half hour into a set, the second deck doesn't let me load any tracks to it. No matter what I try.
This can be really annoying in live streams and house parties as it makes me look like a prat.
Why is this?
Also, my laptop sometimes completely turns off.
Doesn't overheat at all, checked temperatures with HWMon and I have the bottom plastic cover off when I DJ as well as a cooling pad with 6 fans on.
Only ever does it when doing a set in Virtual DJ.
It's a high spec machine, it shouldn't be doing this.
Yes, it's a legit copy of VDJ7.

bad idea to be running a laptop with the bottom cover off ... all kinds of bad things can happen
you are using build 7.4.7? if not get it from your account page / licensees
about loading tracks ....
have your tried to drag and drop a track on the deck or just the load button on the controller?
could be that the load button is going bad if that is what doesn't work only.
