I'm experiencing issues with video slideshows in Virtual DJ.
When VDJ plays a video clip in the slideshow plugin, the video playback isn't always smooth and looks rather poor. Sometimes the video slideshow playback is ok, however most of the time, the clips are played back rather cloppy. My music videos play perfectly on both decks, as do my video samples in the sampler. Just an issue with the slideshow plugin it appears.
I am currently running the latest public release, however I’ve had this issue with previous versions of VDJ.
Certainly not a resource issue, hardware is a MacBook Pro 2012, OSX Sierra, Core i7, 16GB Ram, 1GB Dedicated Graphics.
The videos clips in question are around 10 seconds long, all MP4 files. If these files are loaded onto the decks and played that way, they work fine. Appears to be an issue with the Slideshow Plugin, which is driving me mad!
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Hopefully this can be resolved soon because, I cannot use the plugin at the moment, looks rather unprofessional playing back cloppy video slideshows in venues :(
