I had the headphone monitor working fine 6 months ago, then stopped mixing for 6 months. When I tried setting it up again today, no go. I've tried everything for half a day. Nothing works. Either the master leaks thru the monotor, or I get nothing at all. What could have changed or gone wrong in the meantime?

You've not given enough detail. What hardware are you using - computer, audio interface, controller? Tell us what they are and how you've set them up.
