While the current mapping window serves well, occasionally I work on it at the xml level, (to re-order or for the stupidly long stuff) I think a gui alternative maybe popular.
I'm not talking hi def images, just basic.
I'm mulling it over how it could best work to get the non script confident to get used to layering.
Currently I think you hover over a button and you'll see script for single press and shift press.
Then as you add further modes via vars, further slots are shown.
I suspect this might bloat the program and probably won't be easy, so maybe a off line addon. Or a plug-in that is explicit in explaing that it isn't for a performance scenario.
