This is the 2nd or 3rd time I read about similar problems with slider values

A new action 'param_between X Y' would be handy.
And I'm sure there are a lot of other situations where this could be useful.

Thought about this too, it can be done with current script but it gets unwieldy pretty quickly.
As it can be done currently, I'd believe it wouldn't be that great a challenge to do, and it would make script more in line with how people actually think.
