Recently i have been having trouble on opening virtual dj pro 8 mac version when i would open it the icon will appear along with the top bar but the program it self doesn't appear so i un installed it and installed it again this time it opened so when i went to close it and bring it back up it did the same thing has anyone ever come across this issue before running a mac here is my specs on my mac serial number has been removed for privacy.

Remove VirtualDJ from your apps folder.
Go to Documents\VirtualDJ\Cache and remove any update files from there.
Download and install the current public VirtualDJ build: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html
If at that point it is still crashing, go to Documents\VirtualDJ and rename settings.xml to something else and retry.

I have the same problem as Slickrick1386. I followed the instructions given to him and it seemed to work so far. I have a question though... Should we not do any updates from now on? What should I do?

It was a regression bug on the Mac in one of the recent beta builds that was fixed in 2522.
