I'm not sure if I understand you.
But yes, VDJ will create a directory on your external harddrive. That is the normal behaviour and you should NOT delete this folder.
It contains you database.xml file for the external drive.
If you mean, that everytime you drag a video file to a deck and VDJ creates a new video edit file, that is also a normal behaviour and a new feature.
If it is none of the above, please try to describe your problem again.

VDJ could only scan 1 title at a time.

OK SBDJ - on my desktop it works on three but on the animation only one, yet I am with V8.0.0 on both b2412.
