please could somebody direct me and give me instuctions on how to connect my ddjt1 to virtual dj iv heard it can be done but is very simple its just a quick fix untill i get a delivery thank you in advance

Hence it's just a question of understanding the mapping.
That is not so easy.
If in doubt you need to examine the mapping to find out what it actually does!
That's good for a few headaches.

It is not supported according to VDJ, I'll check for user mappings.
Every controller can be mapped, but you don't want to have to do it all yourself.
That suggests Traktor was messing around , and was trying to make it difficult to use with other software.
This was the case with the S4 Mk1, however the Mk2 is OK.
If VDJ staff struggle to map the jog wheels then it is a waste of time.
Worse still it implies the response of the jog wheels will be inferior.
