Hi,
it would be very nice if i can costomize the curve of the Xfader (degressive, Progressive, fix, proportional ) the way i like.
For Example a Setting with a degressive curve within the next 1,5 cm to max. db.
if there is no way to create a grafic costomization what about a scale entry?
The Xfader is 5 cm long (2,5 cm each side)
Each 0,5 cm is one point to difine the curve ( 0 to 9 are possible Values - 0 is equal to 0 db and 9 equal to max db)
The Example (degressive curve within 1,5 cm to max db) setting so takes
L____C ____R
0589999999 L to R
9999999850 R to L
a proportional curve would be
L____C ____R
0123456789 L to R
9876543210 R to L
so each curve can be created on any length of the xfader. If i like to i probably set
L____C ____R
0999999999 L to R
9999999990 R to L
what means that i set the xfader to max. db within the first 0,5 cm
This would be nice because i can adjusst the Xfader exactly to my transformation skills ;-)

there is a custom crossfader setting in the advanced options
mines set this way
0=[1,0]/0.25=[0.92,0.45]/0.4=[0.88,0.75]/0.5=[0.82,0.82]/0.6=[0.75,0.88]/0.75=[0.45,0.92]/1=[0,1]
there was some threads on this a while back might just do a search
this one dips the volume in the center
mines set this way
0=[1,0]/0.25=[0.92,0.45]/0.4=[0.88,0.75]/0.5=[0.82,0.82]/0.6=[0.75,0.88]/0.75=[0.45,0.92]/1=[0,1]

So if its possible to set a degressive curve from 0 db to max db within the first 1,5 cm (each side) what do i have to enter in the custom crossfader setting ?

The number before "=" is the xf travel, the numbers in the "[ ]" are the proportion of the output.

thx, i find a discryption after i use the google-search again (the forum search wont help me out:-( )
And it delivered this
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Far Left position
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Volumes on the far left position. First Value is for the left deck, second value is for the right deck. Usually you WANT this value to be [1,0]
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Position of the slider. Here 0.5 is for the middle position of the slider
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Volumes on that position (middle position). On this example both decks have full volume. You could write [0.5,0.5] or [0.75,0.75] e.t.c.
Since this is the middle position, on most cases you want both values to be the same
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Far right position
0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]
Volume on the far right position.
