Topic: how to refresh the skin??

Occasionally the skin stops being drawn properly and bits of it disappear, the browser also disappears.. vdj continues playing but it appears like the skin locks out.

Where would i start to fault find this??
Im certain there is no crashguard report (i never see any popups in relation to crashguard so i dont think that works either)

as a workaround, is there a way of creating a keyboard short-cut to invoke a screen refresh?
In the past when this happens ive managed to minimise and restore the vdj window but the skin comes back in its crashed state :(

Are you using the default skin?
 
Try keyboard shortcut 
load_skin
 
Its the focus skin, but its happened using "internal" skin too.

What are your system details (OS, graphics)? Things like this usually happen because of a graphics problem with the computer.
 
I have the same problem, but whole skin disappears - just big gray rectangle instead of VDJ8 and the music keeps playing.
Windows 7 64bit, Intel HD Graphics 4600, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, latest drivers.
 
On-cpu intel graphics arent working too well for me since updating to win10
I have dual graphics and the nvidia chip has updated already but intel are behind..
