Topic: Slide Show error

Last night when using the slide show I was having an unusual issue - instead of fading between slides, there was a hard cut to black, and then a hard cut to the next slide. I tried adjusting the settings, and the only solution was to set the fade to zero, which created a hard cut directly between slides - however the next time I would load a track on that deck the settings would reset and I would once again have the black screen popping up. I tried to open the slide show effects panels for both channels I was using, but they would randomly close themselves (at what seemed to be about the same time the settings would revert).

I have the slide show set to automatically play during audio tracks. This was on PC, Win 8.1, well spec'ed system. It has not been an issue previously (worked fine the night before and no system or software upgrades were made). I did not get a chance to reboot the system as by the time I noticed the problem the show was already live.

Just to understand, Slideshow is selected as AudioOnlyVisualization ?
Was the SLideshow selected as Effect on Decks ? or Master ?

Yes - selected as AudioOnlyVis

Slideshow settings were per deck, not using the master.
 
Hi guys how do u use slide show on vdj 8
And can u use text like you could on old versions
