Hi,

What are good latency settings for optimal sound?

Have a DJM 5000 and MEP 7000.

As low as your computer will go basically.

There are so many variables depending on your PC, hardware and drivers.

You mean ultra latency? Read the notes in config, or the User Guide. Set it to whatever works best for you.

latency is something you have to experiment with when u start getting bad sound your too low............

if you are on a windows machine you can use this tool to help determine about where you should be http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/105257/PC_Version_Technical_Support/_DPC_Latency_Checker_-_Fix_Audio_Problems.html

also disabling networking/wireless and Bluetooth helps get things lower on many machines

I'm pretty happy at around 512 i don't do a lot of scratching and beat juggling but some and i get good results.
