Topic: Video is not Stable

First I would like to say VDJ8 has so may great features. Thank you developers.

While Playing Videos and going into Config > Video to turn on or off logo or turn on or off random transitions. The video either freeze or goes to black.
This is intermittent .
Never had this happen using VDJ7.
Also not able to re_activate video when it goes out . The program must be closed and re opened.

I would like to continue using VDJ8 if this can be resolved.

Macbook pro
Bootcamp
2.6Ghz Quad Core i7 64bit
8GB Ram
256 Solid State Drive
Nividia Gforce GT 650M Video Card
Total Available Graphics 4095 MB
Dedicated Video Memory 1024 MB

double click on the video preview window. Does it return then?

I have done that several times.
Along with reloading different videos on each deck. Going into Config. > Video and putting visualization to none.
 
It dose not return the video
I am going to clean out the visualization folder and start fresh. see if that helps.
 
I'm having some problems too with video. VDJ crashed of times last night during video transitions
 
I'm getting a similar issue. Video plays up to about 40 seconds and then just goes blank.
Have to restart to get it back, but then the same thing happens.
 
Sorry guys, ignore my issue. A quick restart of lappy and all is good.

I am having the same problem with the Video window not wanting to re-open if I X out of it, double clicking the video window isn't working also tried mapping a keyboard key to toggle on/off the video Output using the script in the sample box and nothing happened there either. VDJ 8.0 2094.917

Just figured out it is a skin problem. the Stanton SCS3 HD Skin that was made for Version 7 doesn't register the double click on the video screens in the mixer section.
 
of course we recommend skins that made for V8 only to have all features and functionality of the new version avaliable.
