Where would the cue settings be saved? Is it saved in a file inside the Virtual DJ folder or inside the folder of the song itself? Reason I'm asking is because I just had to copy all my music from my backup hard drive to a new laptop because my old one got stolen and I was wondering if there was an easier way to retrieve the cues instead of having to re-cue each track again. Thank you!

Cues are stored in each drive's database XML file. Copy it from backup to the new drive and you should be ok.

I would suggest to always use the file operations options from within VDJ when backing up your files, i.e highlight a file or folder etc right click choose file operations and copy to your back up system. This will ensure that all cue points are saved and would be available if you needed to restore them in the future.

Since Atomix have gone for the web based security option, they should offer web based database and settings backup with various restore points.
Would save a shedload of hassle and multiple posts every single day about missing or screwed up databases.
