Ok, so where is the option to enable software riaa filter when using time codes?
If it's all automatic it's doing a very poor job at detecting the signal, mix vibes cross and mixxx both have no trouble finding the signal.
I honestly think virtual dj 8 is a big step backwards, I can't find any options to do anything. Hell, I can't even find out where to change timecode options from 33 to 45 rpm. Can't find where iTunes playlists are located. At this rate, I'll be unsubscribing pretty damn quick.

So I found in the manual that virtual dj 8 does not have a software riaa preamp. And yet virtual dj 7 does. Not to mention that once I got it to work the dvd randomly flips into reverse while the signal is perfect and stable in mixxx. I will be unsubscribing, a new version is meant to be better than an old version.
