auto_crossfade is working different in VDJ 7 and VDJ 8
7: deck left auto_crossfade always fades to the left deck (no matter where fader is at the moment)
8: deck left auto_crossfade fades to the left deck, next time to the right, next time to the left :o(

in my skin, beside of the crossfader i have buttons to fade to the left / right deck.
how can i do this in VDJ 8? Or is this a known bug and will be fixed in some future version of VDJ 8?

I would also like to add this kind of buttons to skins.

But, unless it is much improved, I can't bring that to users. Thanks team to have look at this ! ^^
 
Any update on this? Noticed the same thing when I tried to set this up myself.

it's sad that there are no answers here, i thought this was the bug-report forum was made for.
 
Here is the solution, got it from Atomix Virtualdj customer support within just 1 hour! Seems that they do not read the bug forum, but they do answer support requests.

button 1--------->crossfader 0% ? crossfader 0% : deck 1 select & auto_crossfade
button 2--------->crossfader 100% ? crossfader 100% : deck 2 select & auto_crossfade

i already tried it, works like a charm.
