I beg your pardon if this has been mentioned.
There are a few bugs when showing a standalone sideview widget. It is not refreshing correctly (when changing view mode from grid to list, or changing sampler view mode from pads to list).
AND, a more sneaky one but annoying, sometimes the width of the sideview frame changes to about +10 pixels from its original size (dunno exactly what triggers that). It may then draw on top of other elements.

This has already been reported by me about a month ago.
This isn't a priority at the moment, but it should be fixed at some point. Hopefully soon as I'm waiting on it for my EXPO skin but for a slightly different bug.
