I have 14000+ tracks on my database from V7.4 and all is analyzed and beatgrid aligned correctly. The big annoyance is that the VDJ8 forces to re-analyze a song that has not been analyzed yet in VDJ8 and re-aligns the beatgrid (most likely in wrong position). Also It is slow loading for the first time, especially for the videos.
There is a way to stop vdj8 to doing it. Open the folder yourHardDriveWhereYouStoreTheMusic/VirtualDJ make a backup copy of database.xml. Open database.xml in notepad++ or any other (good) text editor. Do a text search and replace. Search for a sentence ' Version="510" ' and replace with "Version="800" '. Replace all sentences you find (as many as you have tracks on your drive). Save the file. Now VDJ 8 does not altern the beatgrid ever again and it loads the song fast! :)
