If you try to preview the file in your headphones and then you try to rename it, it doesn't work even if you stopped the preview,

I know this is a very old message but just came across it when I came up against the problem of track files not renaming from the tag editor. Having battled with this for a bit and thought it might be to do with old files, different ID3 tag versions etc etc I thought I would post a solution which I have just worked out in case it is of help to someone in the future.
If you go out of the tag editor into the browser, preview another different song, then return to the tag editor the rename file option will work. :-)
Guess it's something to do with VDJ 8 not wanting to change the filename of a song that it has loaded in its memory for the preview function?
