Topic: Firetext

Has anyone managed to get Firetext to work with v8. Not working for me.

It does not work yet. When Firetext get's 8, and ports it, it will be released.

Hey Gary, I've just got hold of v8 earlier this afternoon then there was a power cut in my area for a few hours, I've sent notification over to Firetext team of the release, like everyone else I'm currently getting to know the basics on 8, so cannot give any help until I get to chat with the Firetext guys.

Just had a thought there, I installed V8, immediately there is a power cut and shuts out 2500 homes in the area for a few hours... does that count as being the biggest system crash ever... rofl

Should I report that as a bug... lol

Me too :)

I'm also waiting that Firetext gets ported. I need it for my gigs. So have to use v7 until it'll work with 8.
 
Any news on this Paul?
 
I'm in the dark just as much as you guys on that one mate, there is a new project soon to be released and other projects that are work in progress, in the meantime I'm just using Firetext templates to get vdj monitor screen out through Firetext.
