Hello friends,
I recently purchased a Pioneer XDJ R1 and was hoping it would work with virtual dj right out of the box. For some strange reason it recognized the xdj r1 within my sound configurations but the midi controller itself did not work. As in, no button were responsive to control the software in midi mode. I thought the controller was natively supported however, it was not until I downloaded a mapper of the plugin section that I could get it to work. Any idea why it did not work initially? I would like to use the native mapper unless the plug in one is the exact same one?

The mapper available in our Plugin Page is identical to the native one.

Just install the mapper from here:

and then setup VDJ and the controller like you can see here:
