Every time I drag a video onto a deck, I can never drag a song on top of it. I can either have the song or the video but not both and I don't know why?

You can't load two different files on the same deck at the same time. If you want to link a video to an audio file, load the audio file on the deck first, then drag the appropriate video to video preview window of the skin (On the default VirtualDJ v7 skin, click on the VIDEO tab to show these.)
