Hey guys!
I'm looking for some help from wedding DJs. My client was wondering if we could do something differnt, untraditional and alternative for garter removal/garter toss and bouquet toss. Any ideas? Some funny/different songs to play during these ceremonies? Cool way to announce them? Anything... You are the best! Thanks a lot!

there are some good/different/idea on youtubes.
As much as I like to help clients, I let them decide what they want and just relay them them back to me.
Getting a diff idea on tossing a garter (maybe attach a reel to it, so when thrown, reel it back hehe). How about spray something on it to make it smelly ?
I seen some videos where the groom went for removing the garter and SHOVEL, HAMMERS, OIL, TOOLS was taken out first (handed from the back of the Bride by someone), The OIL was funny (like having OIL CHANGE).

put the garter on a paper plate full of cream cakes and throw it high in the air .... or fire it out of a foam machine.... do something that gets ppl messy. people always like messy...

I carry a few colors of linen napkins (adjusted for color of garter) Hand the napkin to the groom and throw that first ... works great with when you call the single guys up and you get a few thast are OVER anxious ... a thick BINDER and headlamp (any hardware store has them) puut the headlamp on the groom ... if goes to fast grab the binder and announce "didnt you study the MANUAL" hand him the binder.
Just know the clients and feel them out to see if they will work ....

mate i normally sit the bride on a chair and put leg out with gather on.
put groom on his hands and knees and tell him he has to take off with only his teeth,
but before this get the grooms men each side and as he gets there to her leg they lift him up and carry him all the way back down the floor and now he has to start stripping off his shirt.all the time the crowd are clapping and whistling.
this looks great fun on wedding video and when they look back in years to come they will say the dj was great and fun
