I was thinking last night about modifying the the Cut effect to use the the BPM of the song when it first starts. Then you can over ride that as soon as the slider moves. This could be an option that you can turn on or off. maybe even with the other slider, or in the effect config panel.
I think it would be a great idea, I just have no idea how to do it. Is anyone interested in helping implement this feature?

I've written one that does that - and syncs an audio cut too ;)

Nice, I knew if anyone would, it would be you. Is it publically available? I did a few searches (before and now) and can't seem to find it.
