I wish there was some kind of a marker/colour that indicates every N'th bar of the track. Generally N would be 4.
Since VDJ already analyses and marks every fourth beat when a track is loaded, I guess it won't be too hard to add a little feature that colours/marks every '4 x N' th beat.

The grids (dots) in waveform is giving you this info.
The current syntax of waveform (rhythmzone) however is not giving us the ability to color them differently. But the different size gives you the info you need.
