Would it be possible to display the major beats of a song in the wavform preview.
For example an orange line at every 128 beat....

I don't think it is necessary, you will be able to feel the right moment with practice, but you do have 99 cues at your disposal, why not use those, and you will find the formula of dance music does tend stray from your pattern

set_cue : store the current position in the cue. if one parameter is given, it's the number of the cue to use. if two parameters are given, the second is the position to store, in ms, in beats, or in percentage of the song length.
You could probably set up a shortcut that adds a list of cue points that are 128 beats apart, and then another shortcut that deletes them all (in case you redo the CBG)

to do that you that you could use a script... "goto 128 & set_cue"
