I you are (like me) browsing for music with the up/down arrow keys all the time, then you
know what happens if you highlight the floppy icon...
FRRREEZzEe.., windows trying to read that old device, so if you have only a few seconds to
load a song.. silence. IT HAPPENED TO ME...
Go to device manager and (right click) disable the floppy controller.
This will deactivate the floppy and hide its icon from everywhere.
If you sometime need the floppy drive again just enable it.
P.S. What was the latest time you used a floppy 3.5 disk ? (i dont remember)

Never had one, got 300g drive there instead.
