Topic: mutiple file editing

i put music genre in the comment section but each files has to be done seperately is there a way i can put blues in my commet section all at once this will be a big help instead of 15 diffrent times

You can use an ID3tag editor to write your comments and select the ID3 read option in VDJ.

Some of us write the genre in the filename.

Personnally I use subfolders.
 
Try out Flash Renamer, a nice ID3tag editor. Real powerful when you get the hand of it.
 
Is there a tag editor that can copy automatically for multiple files the "genre" of EACH file into its "comment" field?
 
Tag&Rename can do that, but the Comment field of the ID3 tag is not the same as the comment field used in VDJ.
