Allen and Heath Xone xd-53

Does anyone use the Direct Sound EX-29 headphones? I heard that they are great for blocking out noise and has great isolation. Anyone use them?

Some crap ones right now because I always break mine. Owned about 3 pair of MDR-V700's in my life, and I will buy them again.

I'm using the Sennheiser HD205 headphones, at first I found them too tight and made my ears sore after prolonged use but I have since worn them in and I find they perform brilliantly, sound great and are quite comfortable.

My marshmallows, as they have been so kindly nicknamed. Reloop RHP-10

Using some $15 dollar Sylvania wireless headsets that was a gift about a year ago. I got tired of breaking $100- $200 headsets all the time. My wife purposely started a fund for my headphones alone!

Happy Hunting on those CANS!

I just switched to the Reloop RHP-10s from my older Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. I am very satisfied with them. To my surprise the Reloops sound way better especially on bass. They are very light and comfortable (the HD 280s clamped down too hard and were cumbersome). Great headset for $85. I just cant justify $300 for a set of cans!

Its amazing how many different headphones people are using, goes to proove that everyone has a different sound.

I am using the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's. For Live Band and Audio Mixing these give the best definition of any that I have tried.

* Exceptional audio quality for professional monitoring and mixing
* Collapsible design ideal for easy portability and convenient storage
* Proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with neodymium magnet systems
* Closed-back cushioned earcup design creates an outstanding seal for maximum isolation
* Adjustable padded headband for comfort during long mixing/recording sessions
* Single-sided coiled cable terminates to gold-plated mini plug with screw-on 1/4" adapter

Not cheap, but worth every penny.

I use the Reloop rehp10, nice tight fit,and they quality of sound is amazing.

After trying many different headphones and continually breaking MDR-V700's, I read DJ City's headphone review and took his advise. The Beats by Dre Pros are perfect for what I do and how I use my headphones (on head, one cup flipped up).

bloody nora, for the price they should be gold plated or somathing lol

2 years and still lovin' my Allen Heath XONE XD53s. Got a good deal on them at the DJ Times Atlantic City Expo on last day frenzy.

They are comfortable, have good flex knuckles, and sound excellent.

AKG K-181 DJ.

Really good sound, strong enough, and the most important thing, all the earphone pieces are send as spare parts!

V-MOda is the best headphone out there! I have the Pioneer 2000 and now they sit there! I own 3 pairs of V-Moda! Use promo code mistere and recieve a discount off! Thats my friend for the people who check out the Mixing Lab Video Mix Show every Tuesday night! www.vmoda.com

i have a set of beats studios and a set of beats pro, really the pros SUCKS.... and the studio have tooo much bass.. there is a point on the midlle of the party that u dont hear more that the bass.. but they look REAL COOL at parties! lol

I've been using Citronic HP500 Pro headphones. They aren't expensive, have a good frequency response and worked perfectly with my RMX.

However when I plugged them in to my Denon MC6000, it was like listening to a completely different set. Clearer, louder...

But this weekend they finally broke after 18 months of solid use. Just one of the plastic mouldings holding the earpiece in place broke.

My plan, to buy another pair exactly the same ;-) Less than £40 and perfect for what I need them for. Plus I like to have backups and doubles of everything, so the two detachable leads (one curly one straight) that came with the first set will work with the new ones and I'll keep the new - unused pair - for backup.

Managed to super glue the old set, but they are now retired to the studio for my radio shows ;-)

Cheers,

Roy
