Last night in a local town here Bryan Adams and Def Leppard came to play.
I wound up 20' from the stage by some stroke of vip luck.
A local radio station was handing back stage party passes (nothing special, bar and munchies) and we also had first dibbs at walking out on the field.
I was in total shock that I was going to be that close by some stroke of luck.

Def Leppard celebrating their 25th yr is touring and coming to such a small audience is just incredible.
Bryan Adams, who with his band are typically under dressed for the occasion, show up in black tees, dungarees and work boots. His stage presence and interaction with the audience along with all of the hits we once belted out constantly made for quite a show.
I kept hoping to see Tina Turner walk out for "one night love affair", didn't happen.......

Def Leppard is chroma keying with a beat matched mixer like the V4 Edirol, quite an effect when the ambient ties directly to the songs theme and the blending starts.
They had the Brittish flag C Keyed and a zoom shot on the bassest's guitar with it's own flag was incredible.
Can we have chroma key, please?

Pouring assed rain from start to finish the bands came to play because we came to see them, they both expressed that several times.

The talent in both of these bands is still incredible, every note, every phrase, every lick.
It just wowed me.
If you get a chance to see them do it.

Oh, I forgot, They were using overloop like crazy.
Sounds great live, never hear it except behind the console.
