Looking for a combo case with 11 spaces on top and a minimum of 10 on the bottom up to 14 on wheels that would hold a fold down monitor. Trying to get my new system in one case. My main issue is I have a CDN 88 so 3 spaces there. 2 for the fold down monitor stand, 2 for the pcdj controller, 4 for my mixer. Any thoughts? I looked at oddessey gator, ect. and could not find anything at least that holds the monitor. I have a 11x14 and it doesn't hold the monitor. Maybe someone can tell me where to buy the carpeting and I can just rebuild my case a bit. Looked for that too. Thanks,,

I wanted to encompass everything in one rollable unit. I currently have a case but it won't fit the top. I was thinking of going with the gator case instead. I would but the large one to encompass eveything except they only have a 10 space top. Which Gator did you you to get the monitor to fit Rick? Or do you remove the monitor after a gig.

Actually It folds down onto the mixer and the top lid goes on.
It was a Gator 10X6 I think.
I got the mount from DJRAK, $185, but it solved my problem.
The key is to find the right monitor FIRST.
You want a black 15" lcd as flat as you can get it, I use a Samsung.
Jef at VJLive has a monitor mount that is pretty clean and flat.

The gator lid was tall enough? Was it a special lid? The mount I have is a bit high. And two spaces. It does fold down. I have a 17" flat screen NEC extremely flat. Probably would need about five inches of extra room to pull this off. Also bought a monitor cover to protect the screen in transport. I currently have an oddessy and it isn't even close. I also own a 10x2 gator case which I have a laptop system in. Took a look at it and it doesn't look to be enough room.

Put it this way....it's snug and will never chaffe, lol.
In other words, it just makes it.
I lay a terry cloth towel over the knobs and the screen lays right down on it.
Gator does have some special lids available btw.
Oh, and one other thing.
The Samsung as a 1/8" recession in the frame that I laid a piece of 1/8" window pane into with black silicone to hold it in place.
Keeps the screen clean forever and I will never have to worry about damaging it.
This is the mount, it is 1u.
