Now back to topic...

I'm gonna try and get my weekly residency to let me try video. They have 32" screens all round the walls fed from a central unit. However it looks like the inputs to this system are purely via a composite RCA connection.

We'd need a balun to get from the booth to the rack out back and ideally I'd like to have VGA input in the booth and then composite at the other end. Is this possible?

Here's the balun I'd like to get http://www.cyberselect.co.uk/product/1523. Can I get a composite B-end or should I just get a VGA to composite converter?

Just to put my two cents in....I run a 50 ft HDMI cable (very thick, much thicker than my old VGA cable). Whether it meets HDMI specs, don't know, don't care, no way to test. What I do know is that it works on my Samsung 42" and my DLP projector. The picture is great and much better than the VGA. By the way I use an ATI card.
 
that last question made me laugh. I blew snot. Totally unexpected.
