I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ONE U KNOW IF THERE IS A COMPETITION

Please do not use caps lock on (any) forum. It looks like you' re mad or something.
At this moment there is no competition. There has been one in the past where you could win a XP10 controller.
There might be another competition in the future, but that's up to the VDJ team

I think a new competition would great... different genre of music however
 
I would prefer two or more music genres and leave the genre choice to the contestant.
Or he/she mixes one genre or they clash different genres together. It will become even more interesting with the 1 minute mix limitation.
 
what do you think about rock.

I think country would prove to be more of a challenge....

Ok vdj team put something together and lets see who is the best.

My recommendation is that the competition be seperated to music categories and top winners in the categories go against each other.

The other brain storm will be where ,time and how, I have some ideas but I want to see what the VDJ team think first.

Dont even tell me blah blah blah only full version users only, I know

It seems to me only full version users would be able to compete. ;)
 
This would be a good idea. VDJ did this back in December 2003-January 2004.

How did they do it ,live on the internet or on location
 
 
If VDJ team decides not to host the contest, why can't someone host the contest on their web site? The host can make his (well, preferably her) own rules, select the panel of judges from VIP members on this board, put some sort of voting process in place, where all of the listeners rate the mixes (sort of like American Idol, where America votes), etc.

Heck, if enough of you guys are interested and there's decent support from the potential judges (Norway, Andre, how 'bout it?), I can host this on my web site.
