Let's say that I have a list sorted by genre. As I'm scrolling through those songs (each song row is highlighted/active), I come upon an artist that I like. I would like to then click on the ARTIST column tab and sort all of the songs by artist however, instead of my new active row being at the top of the list, I would like the system to remember (sticky) what artist I was just on and then place my cursor (active row) at that artist. The same goes for genre. As I'm scrolling through an artist, I might come upon a genre I'd like to look at. If I clink on genre, I'd like my current record to be on the artist I was just at but all my songs sorted by genre.
I find that many time I'm DJing, I'm in dark places and MANY times I perform almost all of my searching by hunt/peck using a mouse and not having to use a keyboard to enter search criteria.
