I'd love to see (or build, if I knew how to code) a video transition based on dual window, designed for cutting up sound and video clips.
Would be as follows:
- The current double window with video crossfader in the middle (so you have the double windows at the top half of the output, with an alpha blend filling the rest of the frame)
- Always locked to that same ratio and layout
- Crossfader brings in each video individually, in left and right windows, and fades to black
Technically, this is kind of possible in the current double window transition - but only if you use the channel volume mixers to fade each clip in and out. I'd love to be able to do this with the crossfader.
An added bonus would be if you could activate your webcam on the main screen, with the two smaller windows still outputting the source clips!
This would be amazing... If anyone who can code fancies building this, I'll be forever grateful!!
