Interesting...considering Cue & Virtual DJ are the same! Someone at numark might want to look in to that.
Maybe its cue LE they reviewed?

Yes that is a little strange, its not clear as to who is producing these reviews or what version it was based on.

I am not really sure who has produced this chart as they are identical.

It seems that it is largely a place holder for several affiliate programs.

If you press buy now and make a purchase the website gets a cut.

I did wonder if they were comparing VDJ6 to Cue5 but by looking at the screenshots, both the screenshots of VDJ and Cue look almost identical and are the V5.X skin.

I made the jump and crossgraded a couple of weeks ago and am now glad I did. I'm loving Netsearch but have been having some stability issues with VDJ6. Will post more details when I've done some more checks on it.

I would imagine Virtual DJ will release an update around the same time for VDJ as cue comes out with any changes made.
 
I have talked to Numark a few different times since VDJ6.

The first time was about a week after VDJ 6 release and they said CUE 6 would be "Very Soon".

The Latest was a few days ago and the response I got was "Right Around The Corner!"

I can't wait! I don't want to crossgrade, to the same program.

Basically I think they are testing more strenuous before release so that there are not as many Bugs to fix.

THE ANSWER IS YES NUMARK CUE 6 WILL BE HERE SOOON...
 
OK, what's the rush? It's only been SIX WEEKS!!! lol
 
Makes more sense for the Cue update to be released with the next update of VDJ6. No point putting it out with the current version.
 
I`ve tried the demo of VDJ6 and seems to have alot more features also have noticed the use of other timecoded vinyl and found using something other than the numark vinyls gave a better signal so eagerly awaiting the update.

It makes me wonder. If Numark is taking so long to release this, did they find THAT many bugs?

Or its not a high priority?

Anything else dosent make sense.
 
Im thinking its not a high priority for both Atomix and Numark to have the Mac version done... Why else would the PC version have so many more bells and whistles then the Mac version????

would love to hear an official answer to that one...

We are pressing for the mac update strongly at this time.

This is one of the issues holding the release.

Its not our policy to comment on our findings. I will say however quality is very important to us.
 
Nice. So we are just waiting for the Mac headz. Who is the majority?

NO, but as there is a large number of mac users so it is important.

There are other areas such as controller improvement and NS7 support that is being worked on.

mmmmmm - it doesnt matter who the majority is. Customers are customers and all should be treated with equal respect.

I actually find the way VDJ6 for Mac is still in beta while Windows users have had a full release since the end of May. I just hope that when the full release is out - it is worth the wait.
 
The windows version still has some things to fix, based on real user experiences outwith the private beta. I guess Atomix are working on a new version to roll-up all these fixes and that is what will be released as Cue. That may include native support for the NS7 which would make sense for both Atomix and Numark. I'm still not installing V6 on my gig machine as I still consider the current version beta until it is updated again. I still think public beta tests are better but they need to be project managed properly.
 
Don't get me wrong - i wasnt knocking the beta at all. At the end of the of day, if there was no beta - we would all be in the dark.

I am also aware that the PC version has problems.

The point i was making - was that some users who have posted felt that they had to wait for the developers to complete the Mac version before both would be released.
