What is the MAIN difference between the two? What would make you want to get numark over virtual dj? Is it just because it comes with the vinyl/cds and sound card instead of having to buy a maya?
I have a friend wanting to invest in it.. and well he wants to do video. Does the numark allow him to crossfade or use his mixer to do videos without having to get a midi mixer or using keyboard shortcuts for transitions?

The main difference is that VDJ is just a software, and Numark VV is package with hardware for Timecode use (vinyl or cd) and sound card. The software is the same.
